Ruppert promotes branch manager

LAYTONSVILLE, Md. – Ruppert Landscape has announced the promotion of Josh Lawson to the position of branch manager in our Charlotte Landscape Management branch located in Pineville, NC.

As branch manager, Lawson will be responsible for the overall development and health of the branch including the growth and development of his team, strategic planning, budgeting, training and day-to-day operations. Lawson has over nine years of industry experience and has been with the Ruppert organization since 2007. He began his career with Ruppert as an assistant field manager, moving his way up to field manager, area manager and most recently, enhancement manager for the company’s Toughkenamon Landscape Management branch. He has also worked in other branches including Baltimore and Laytonsville, Md.
“Josh’s leadership style and his results-oriented approach are what will make him successful in the position of Branch Manager,” said Jack Jones, region manager. “He has a reputation for being a quality-focused manager who will do whatever it takes to get the job done. We are looking forward to his future contributions in our Charlotte Branch.”
Lawson holds a certificate in Horticulture Science from Cecil College and is a master stormwater steward and a Landscape Industry Certified turfgrass manager. He also serves in the United States Army Reserve as a military policeman and is currently ranked as Staff Sergeant (E-6). During his eight years of service, he has taken part in one deployment to Afghanistan in 2011. Lawson and his fiancée Amanda, along with their son Joshua, recently relocated to Charlotte, N.C.
